The MPA Board election, managed by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC), to fill 6 Executive Council positions, is now open.

AEC will be attending and conducting the Stage 2 Board election process for the following Board Executive positions:

• President

• Vice President

• Treasurer

• Secretary

• Education Officer

• Industrial Officer

AEC will mail the election notice and nomination form by pre-paid post to all eligible council members entitled to vote. Eligible council members who are entitled to vote have been directly notified by email on 2 April 2026, 29 April 2026 and 13 May 2026.

Election Notice - Stage 2 E2025/198

Nominations for the elections are open from Friday 15/05/2026 (May 15, 2026). Nominations must reach the Returning Officer (Jacqueline McHenry) before nominations close on Friday 29/05/2026 (May 29, 2026) by email at IEBnominations@aec.gov.au OR In-Person: at the Board council meeting held at WOTSO, 50 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 on 29/05/2026 (May 29, 2026) at 3 PM. The results of the election will be declared by AEC at this meeting.

If you have not received the election notice and nomination form in your post, and you want to lodge your nomination, please download the forms from our website.

Could you please email your nomination to indra@masterpainters.com.au for checks BEFORE you lodge the nomination form with AEC. A nomination form that has not been correctly completed and lodged in accordance with the Electoral Act will be rejected by AEC.
