The MPA Board election, managed by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC), to fill 14 Council Member positions will be open on Monday 2 March 2026. AEC will also mail the election notice and nomination form by pre-paid post to all eligible members entitled to vote. Please see the below notice.

Nominations for the elections are open from 02/03/2026 (March 2, 2026). Nominations must reach the Returning Officer via the stipulated lodgement method(s) not later than 12:00 noon Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on 16/03/2026 (March 16, 2026). Please refer to attached Election notice and Nomination Form.

Prospective candidates and nominators should verify their eligibility criteria before submitting their nominations.  Please refer to the Election Notice/Nomination Form on how to lodge nominations.

Could you please email your nomination to indra@masterpainters.com.au for checks BEFORE you lodge the nomination form with AEC.  The Electoral Commission will reject the nomination form if it has not been correctly completed and lodged in accordance with the Electoral Act.
